Scotsman Ice Systems, a division of Scotsman Industries, the largest ice machine company in the world, held a conference recently with its North American Distributors in Savannah, GA. A valuable asset, Scotsman’s distributors provide expertise in the ice machine industry and dedicated world-class service and support at a regional level to Scotsman’s customers, both large and small.
“We are excited about the future of the company and our focus on supplying the highest quality and most reliable ice machines, helping grow our customer’s most profitable business, beverages. Also, we look forward to building partnerships with our highly experienced distributors to take our company to the next level,” said Scotsman Ice Systems President Mark McClanahan.
The conference included a seminar on profitable improvement strategies and a tour of Scotsman’s Fairfax, SC manufacturing facility, recognized twice in recent years for it’s excellence in manufacturing by IndustryWeek magazine. Scotsman also honored its Distributors at an awards banquet, acknowledging its top Distributors for their excellent performance over the past year.
Recognition for technology development, manufacturing operations and leadership serve as benchmarks for Scotsman and its distributors – milestones of success along the path to creating some of the best ice making and storage systems around the world. At Scotsman, awards recognize best practices, which lead to superior products, which equal superior performance which positively impacts the customer’s bottom line.
