in Germany
Scotsman
Industries Inc., a global leader in ice machine manufacturing
and distribution announces that on July 1st, 2009, a
new distribution partnership was signed with HiBu Eismaschinen
GmbH & Co,
a leading ice machine distribution company in Germany.
HiBu Eismaschinen replaces the previously affiliated Enodis
Deutschland organization.
HiBu will handle all inquiries, sales and provide technical
support to the entire Scotsman distribution network in
Germany. Given their experience and focus in the ice machine
segment, HiBu will further accelerate the development of
Scotsman ice machine sales into customer segments such
as Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, QSR and Food Retail.
“Ice consumption is Germany is increasing, and the opportunity
for mutual success is great even during the current economic
situation. Companies that have chosen Scotsman products
can be assured of continued technical and commercial support
through our organization” stated Andreas Busch, co-founder
