Ice-O-Matic® Launches New Line of Flake Ice Machines
Machines Lead Industry in Durability and Reliability
(Denver, CO) – February 16, 2010 – Ice-O-Matic®, a leading manufacturer of ice machines and dispensers for some of the globe’s largest convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops, has announced the launch of the new MFI Series modular flake ice machines.
Flake ice is ideal for the presentation and preservation of seafood, produce and perishable food items. The ice extends the shelf life of seafood, colorful fruits and market-ready vegetables by maintaining food hydration longer than refrigeration while reinforcing a fresh appearance to help increase sales.
With durable stainless steel parts throughout and in-line direct drive train technology, the Ice-O-Matic flaker ensures ice production occurs seamlessly, enabling companies to focus on their business and their customers. The machines are built to last and are backed by the longest warranty in the industry, providing three years of parts and labor coverage and five years of parts coverage on the compressor. Additionally, Ice-O-Matic flake ice machines use one-third less water and electricity than traditional cube ice machines.
